Everyone is looking to save money any way they can, so we pulled together all the available energy efficient tax rebates in central Indiana. There are many different rebates from local energy providers available to you. We don’t want to see Indiana residents who are making energy efficient decisions for their household to miss out on the opportunities to save some money. Here are some current rebates you should take the time to review to see if you qualify.
Duke Energy – HVAC Installation
Duke Energy offers rebates when you have an HVAC system installed that uses less energy to heat and cool your home. Depending on the efficiency level of the system, Duke Energy offers different rebate amounts that you can find here.
Duke Energy – Duct Sealing and Attic Insulation
If you have had work done to seal your ductwork or add attic insulation to save energy and money, you may be eligible for a rebate from Duke Energy. Check out the requirements for both services and see if you’re eligible for the rebate here.
Indianapolis Power and Light Company (IPL) – CoolCents® Program
You can receive a $5 credit on your monthly electric bill each month from June through September when you participate in IPL’s air conditioning management program, CoolCents®. A representative will install the CoolCents® device outside near your air conditioner that allows IPL to moderately reduce your air conditioner’s cycle time during peak usage periods in May through September. Vectren Natural Gas – Natural Gas Furnace
Vectren offers rebates on gas furnaces with Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) ratings starting at a 95 percent rating. Visit Vectren to find the requirements and rebate amount for your furnace.
